End of July Update!

Hi All!

We hope you enjoy all the new pictures! There are two new slide shows and links-5 Weeks Old! and Madeleine's Open House. The ones on the Madeleine slide show are professional pictures we had taken that day.

We were so excited to meet Madeleine in person and boy is she BEAUTIFUL! We loved every minute we were able to spend with her and can't wait for the kids to grow up together. We sure would love it if Brent, Kirsten, & Madeleine were a bit closer (hint, hint). The open house was wonderful and gave us a chance to see lots and lots of family and friends. Madeleine was the perfect guest of honor!!!

As for the twins, they are doing amazing! We weighed them today (on an unofficial scale of course) and Ella was about 9 1/2 lbs and Blake was about 9 lbs. They're so big now! We've been really busy with family, friends, grandparents, and great grandparents and love every second we get to spend with them.

We have tentatively scheduled Ella & Blake's baptism for Sunday, August 24th after Mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Flint (where Brian and Erika were married). We are so proud to have chosen some wonderful Godparents for our children. They are all loving, caring individuals who we know will only enhance our children's lives and help them to become incredible children and adults. Blake's Godparents are Brynn (Brian's cousin) and Bobby (our VERY good friend). Ella's Godparents are Sara (Erika's best friend) and Ryan (Brian's cousin) with Ralphie (Erika's brother) standing in for Sara who is in Montana. All of five of these individuals are people we consider both friend and family and who mean something so special to both Brian and me. Thank you to the five of you for accepting this responsibility. We love you all!
